CSR Implementation, Evaluation & Impact
According to the forthcoming CESD’s Annual CSR Tracker 2016, CSR spends substantially increased in FY16 as compared to FY15. The year 2016, was mainly about learning from the first year of CSR regulation and making necessary improvements, and telling stories of doing good. But as the third financial year nears end, companies continue to confront challenges in identifying the right implementing agencies, putting in appropriate monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and trying to decipher which impact to measure and how.

CESD has helped many companies across manufacturing and services sectors with CSR processes, projects, and impacts. These companies have benefited with increased community engagement, exit strategies, developing long-term vision for social change that complements company’s vision, and improved engagement of board members including investors.

CESD now brings its knowledge and experiences of various companies in form of a one-day classroom training programme on CSR implementation, evaluation and impact followed by an exploratory visit on day two. The training is designed for participants to understand practical details of CSR implementation and to help companies maximise value of social investments.
